The bountiful El Negro cigar celebrates the life and legacy of North America’s first Black head of state, President Vincente Ramón Guerrero. Before serving as Mexico’s second president (1829-1830), Guerrero served as one of the leading generals that fought against and defeated Spain in the Mexican War of Independence. His opponents referred to him as El Negro because of his African heritage, advocacy for the equal rights of all Mexicans, and abolishment of slavery in the country in 1829.
This bold and rich handcrafted masterpiece is second to none. The flavor profile engenders soft peppery, smooth nutty, and warm woody notes.
